As a lifestyle newborn photographer based in Southington, Connecticut, I have the privilege of capturing some of the most precious and fleeting moments in a family’s life. Recently, I had the opportunity to work with a wonderful family of four (also my friends and neighbors!) in their home.
This session was a perfect example of why I love what I do—creating natural, emotional images that tell a unique story of love and togetherness.
Clearly overjoyed with their new arrival, it was heartwarming to see how everyone interacted with baby girl. Big brother was especially affectionate, constantly wanting to hold his little sister and showering her with kisses. His enthusiasm and love were truly infectious, and it made for some incredibly touching moments that I was thrilled to capture on camera.
One of the things I love most about lifestyle newborn photography is its focus on natural, unposed moments. Instead of relying on elaborate props and backdrops, I prefer to document families in their own environment, where they feel most comfortable and at ease.
