As a Fairfield, CT Family Photographer I know there are many beautiful location spots for family photos.
This session took place in late fall after most of the colorful foliage had passed so I wanted to find a spot with a different looks capitalizing tall golden grass and late afternoon golden light.
This fall family photo session was very special to me as this family are some of my closest and dearest friends. I absolutely adore this children and their personalities cracked me up all session long.
As with all sessions that involve small children, I always try to keep in moving and fun. Once the “everyone look at the camera” shots were done, it’s time to have fun and just keep up with what the kids are doing, which often results chasing after them, getting down of the ground to their level and asking them the silliest questions to get them to naturally smile.
Another goal of each family photo session is to get every combination I can think like mom with each child, dad with each child, siblings and individual photos of each child. I like the session to naturally unfold and capture all the chaos, love, and joy.
