Welcoming baby boy #2 in the mix! There are few times in life more special (and chaotic, lol) than welcoming a new baby to the family.
In a house filled with fur babies, a toddler, a newborn and lots of love, capturing this in-home lifestyle newborn session was my jam.
Life style in-home newborn sessions with me are relaxed, stress free and approached with a “go with the flow” mentality.
As a mom of three boys myself I know that things don’t always go as planned and pivoting and adjusting as needed are all part of life. I take this mentality with me when I photograph families for their in-home life style newborn session.
I understand that toddlers have a very short attention span. Snapping a few photos of him/her with their new sibling and the family may be short lived and then it’s ok for them to have a break and go play.
Newborns also need to feed when they are hungry or just need some time with mom or dad to snuggle and then we take a break!
I factor all of these things into my sessions and find it puts parents at ease. I’m not going for perfection here, I’m going for real life and the emotions that come with it. In the end if I’ve captured the love and joy I see in every family, then I’ve done my job. It’s a job I love with all my heart and I take it very seriously.
