More on New Safety Measures
As the cooler weather sets in I understand that an outdoor newborn session might not be ideal. You have the option of an indoor or outdoor session (or mixture of both) at your home. I will wear a mask the entire time and sanitize often.
My collection of lenses allow me to get amazing shots with six or more feet between us, keeping proper social distancing in place.
For added safety, these sessions will be contactless meaning I will be relying on parents to pose baby and older children. Since my posing is natural in nature anyway this should be pretty easy.
A signed contract and deposit reserves your spot. Newborn sessions are scheduled between 1-6 weeks post birth. An online gallery of hi-res images will be delivered within two weeks of session.
Pre-session consultation via phone to go over details and prepwork.
Private session at your home (inside or outside).
Online gallery with at least 25 hi-res fully edited images for downloading and personal printing rights. Yes, digitals are included!
Access to order high quality photo products through my professional labs including birth announcements, framed wall art, canvas wraps, albums and more. All products are additional in cost.
50% deposit due at time of booking. Final payment due the week of your session.
"With our most recent maternity and newborn session happening during a pandemic, I was a bit nervous and unsure of how everything would turn out. Katie put my mind completely at ease as soon as we began our session. She was professional, safe, gave me all the pointers I needed, and took all the necessary precautions while still managing to make the experience enjoyable and capturing some of our favorite photos to date!"

I understand that the world we are now living in has changed. But please note that my commitment to providing safe newborn sessions has not. If anyone in my family or myself is not feeling well I will postpone the session. I am a mother first and foremost and value and honor acting in a way I'd hope someone would treat my family--the "mom code" if you will.
Katie Pugliese Photography, LLC- Compliance with Executive Order 7H
On March 20, 2020, Gov. Ned Lamont issued Executive Order 7H, directing all businesses and nonprofit entities in the State of Connecticut to utilize, to the maximum extent possible, any telecommuting or work from home procedures that they can safely employ.
As the sole member of Katie Pugliese Photography, LLC, I am deemed exempt and do not need to submit a request to be designated as an Essential Business by the State of Connecticut.
According to the Governor’s Executive Order, non-essential businesses may continue activities that are conducted off-site (e.g. a customer’s home) and/or by telecommuting or working from home. These photoshoots will only be conducted at the homes of my valued clients, and I will maintain strict adherence to social distancing guidelines at all times.
