More on New Safety Measures
Instead of using the inside of your home we'll adjust and go outdoors in your front or backyard. A shaded area of your yard will be necessary. I've actually been doing outdoor newborn sessions for years now so this really isn't too new for me.
My long lens allows me to get amazing shots with ten or more feet between us, keeping proper social distancing in place. My stylish face mask and hand sanitizer will be handy as well.
For added safety, these sessions will be contactless meaning I will be relying on parents to pose baby and older children. Since my posing is natural in nature anyway this should be pretty easy.
A signed contract and deposit reserves your spot. Newborn sessions are scheduled between 1-6 weeks post birth. An online gallery of hi-res images will be delivered within two weeks of session.
Pre-session consultation via phone to go over details and prepwork.
Private outdoor session at your home (front or back yard).
Online gallery with 25 hi-res fully edited images for downloading and personal printing rights. Yes, digitals are included!
Access to order high quality photo products through my professional labs including birth announcements, framed wall art, canvas wraps, albums and more. All products are additional in cost.
50% deposit due at time of booking. Final payment due the week of your session.
"We were planning on having Katie take our newborn photos, but once COVID-19 hit things changed and we were no longer able to do indoor newborn photos. I was saddened by the thought of not having newborn photos taken. Katie was creative and suggested we do outdoor photos with our son. When Katie came to our house to take photos she was able to take them while maintaining a social distance in a way where we felt completely comfortable. After we got the photos back we were so happy with the product and how well Katie captured our love for our new son."

I understand that the world we are now living in has changed. But please note that my commitment to providing safe newborn sessions has not. If anyone in my family or myself is not feeling well I will postpone the session. I am a mother first and foremost and value and honor acting in a way I'd hope someone would treat my family--the "mom code" if you will.
