If you love dogs (and babies of course!), this blog post is for you!
I’ve seen lots of pups being very protective of the babies in their homes, but never like this one, Moe. Moe was the ultimate protector, running to this sweet babe’s side the second he started to cry and giving me a little growl if I got too close to baby. It was really very sweet! Not to mention he listens like a person when he was part of the posed family photos. Looking directly at the camera and looking at the baby when prompted. It was really quite amazing.
But this at home newborn session in Naugatuck, CT wasn’t all about Mr. Moe, it was about this sweet couple that became parents for the first time just a few weeks ago to a beautiful baby boy.
I first photographed them at their fall maternity session back in October and I could tell right off the bat how excited they were to become parents. And just as I suspected, their love and joy for their precious baby boy was overflowing throughout the session.
What a joy it was to photograph this family as they embark on a new journey. And Moe, you get the award for most photogenic, protective and cooperative dog I’ve ever photographed!
