Carefree and fun beach family photo session? Yes, please!
I’ve been seeing this family of three for a few years now and I think this session by the beach was my favorite! We had a beautiful early fall evening to capture some memories and document their growing daughter.
The Connecticut shoreline offered us a water view, tall grass and flowers and even the start of trees turning red for the season. We had it all! I loved the backdrop options for all of these photo ops and grateful for another session with a family that I look forward to seeing year after year.
When photographing families I like to make sure I get a few “everyone look at the camera shot” and then I like to play a bit, capturing real emotions, laughs, love and joy. The beach was the perfect spot to play in the water a bit, walk along the sand and look out into the sea.
Family sessions with me are relaxed and “go with the flow”. We take breaks as needed (with little ones breaks are usually needed!). And if something isn’t working, we pivot and move on to keep the little ones engaged. As a mom of three I understand this very well!
For this session in particular, little miss, is at a very playful, curious age and capturing that provided for some sweet moments.
I am blessed to have a job that I love and I hope that shines through in my final images.
